It is a balance between core exercises and cardio to both strengthen and build endurance, while at the same time increasing lung capacity and maintenance of a healthy heart with increased blood circulation. Carie will guide you through the class with positive intentions and end with a short meditation of self-love. When you take time to exercise, it's important you are more than your physical body. Rocket Yoga: An introduction of an ancient Eastern practice through the lens of a modern Western perspective. Rocket yoga is designed to do just that, ROCKET you through the Ashtanga practice. These sequences have been designed to wake up the nervous system and promote change in your practice. Together we’ll clear energy blockages, gain strength and fight resistance in our bodies through challenging spinal twists, arm balances and back bends. Everyone is welcome, but a knowledge of basic yoga asanas would be helpful.
Chair Yoga Chair Yoga invites you to find mobility in a way that is soft and gentle but also really supportive and beneficial. This 17 minute practice invites awareness and integrity into the body, specifically the line of the spine. Gentle Yoga is a Kripalu based class to assist you to “Relax, Rejuvenate and Restore”. Kripalu yoga’s emphasis is to focus on your breath and your body, releasing held tensions, while allowing your thoughts that judge to be consistently brought back to your breath and your body in order to spiritually transform. We begin with a breath-meditation, gentle stretches, followed by postures that release your body’s stress tensions and allow you to gain physical healing. As you move through each posture the invitation is available to accept and love yourself moment by moment practicing a compassionate approach. The class emphasizes several postures and always ends with final relaxation and integration.
Yin Yoga Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with seated postures that are held for longer periods of time. Yin is a great class for beginners, as postures can be held from 45 seconds to two minutes. Yin can also be a meditative yoga practice that helps you find inner peace. The classes are relaxed, as you're supposed to let gravity do most of the work.
Open Level Vinyasa Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement," and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and build up momentum throughout the class.
In this style we will move into various postures linking movement with breath. We set intention and work towards them all the while working on ourselves. There is no right or wrong way, no level of perfection. If there is a goal, it is to leave your mat a better person than you were when arrived.
This class is open level. We move at a steady pace offering yogic satisfaction wherever that may be for you. We introduce props, such as blocks, straps, blankets and bolsters, making this class perfect for everyone.All you need to bring is yourself and we will take care of the rest!

Slow Flow: Slow Flow is a slower paced vinyasa class. You will be lead through a sequence where the asanas (postures) are linked together with the flow of breath. This class will incorporate the heat building movement and grace of a traditional vinyasa flow class but we will be moving at a slower, more mindful pace. Come to class to build strength and flexibility in the body and a more calm, balanced mind. This is an approachable class that is suitable for all levels, especially new practitioners exploring vinyasa flow yoga.
Yoga Sculpt: Yoga Sculpt is a class that incorporates hand weights and high-intensity cardio bursts for a maximum calorie burning effect! You’ll recognize all of the postures from our vinyasa yoga classes. The hand weights add a new challenge to traditional yoga classes. Yoga Sculpt also incorporates cardio exercises to get your heart pumping and your blood flowing. And of course, there’s always a challenging core workout mixed in. This class uses upbeat music to help energize and is 60 minutes long. Building muscle through this practice will help improve your everyday yoga practice as well, making more postures accessible to you with the additional strength you gain
Yoga Nidra:Yoga Nidra is an ancient technique of deep relaxation and healing. In Yoga Nidra, we lie down in Savasana while being guided through a systematic withdrawal of the senses and stimulation of different parts of the brain. The result is an extended length of period spent in the space in between waking and dreaming, called the hypnogogic state. Through this process, we uproot and transform Samskaras (deeply rooted patterns of behavior) and sow the seeds for deep healing.
Yoga Nidra has been shown to help with with anxiety, depression, stress, breaking through habitual behavior, PTSD, accelerated learning, increasing motivation, regulating hormones and glucose levels, and increasing the bodies innate healing and rejuvenating abilities. It is said that 15 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equal to 1 hour of sleep.
